The MedStar Family Choice Provider Relations Department values our Provider Network, and our staff is available to assist network providers with education, inquiries, questions, problems and concerns.
MedStar Family Choice has a dedicated staff of nurses and social workers that can assist your office in obtaining pre-authorization, care coordination, and case/disease management services.
Our qualified staff of nurses and social workers can assist in caring for your patients. Complex Case Management is one of our services, provided by nurses and social workers. These professionals are available to coordinate healthcare services for MSFC members who require extensive use of resources, or who need assistance to coordinate complex care.
Disease Management is a service provided by our MSFC nurses and social workers. This program focuses on members with specific chronic diseases. The program was developed to assist your patients in better understanding their disease, and to reinforce the physician's treatment plan for the patient.
MedStar Family Choice has a dedicated staff of Outreach Representatives that work with our members to ensure that they are receiving the care they need. The team assists in scheduling first doctor's appointments with MSFC providers, arranging for transportation, and on specific quality initiatives.
